01Conference-experience

AI, the Brain
and Us.

An interactive conference to understand how artificial intelligence is transforming the way we learn, decide, create and work.

An engaging, accessible format for exploring new balances between technological power, human capabilities and responsible use.

AI & cognition · Neuroscience of learning · Active learning · 25+ years in demanding environments

The problem

AI is entering the workplace faster than our reference points can keep up.

Artificial intelligence tools are already being used to search, synthesize, write, analyze, decide, or create. But practices often evolve faster than our understanding of their effects.

Between enthusiasm, concern and sometimes invisible practices, organizations must now answer a key question: how to leverage AI without weakening discernment, responsibility and human skills?

What you have probably already tried

  • a general presentation of the main AI tools;
  • a spectacular demonstration, but one far removed from business realities;
  • training focused mainly on prompts;
  • a usage charter circulated without genuine time for adoption;
  • a highly enthusiastic — or highly alarmist — narrative about the future of work.

These approaches provide information, but they do not always create a shared understanding.

Technology is not adopted merely because it has been presented. It is adopted when people understand what it changes, what it improves, what it may weaken — and which responsibilities they wish to retain.

≈ 40%

employers in finance and manufacturing who have not yet adopted AI cite lack of skills as the main barrier to its adoption.

WHO IT IS FOR · WHAT IT IS FOR

This conference is designed for you if…

  • you want to create a shared language around AI;
  • levels of knowledge and use vary widely;
  • you want to move beyond a purely technical or tool-centred approach;
  • you are preparing a convention, seminar, innovation day or management event;
  • you want to open a discussion about attention, learning, creativity or decision-making;
  • you want to discuss AI opportunities without minimising its risks;
  • you are looking for an accessible, participatory session connected to real work situations.

This format is not suitable if…

  • you are looking for in-depth technical training on a specific software tool;
  • you want to learn prompt engineering exclusively;
  • you expect IT integration or a compliance audit;
  • you want to transform all of the organisation’s processes in a single intervention.
Experience

A four-stage structure to understand, experience and decide.

The conference is tailored to the audience, sector and commissioning organisation’s objectives. Its structure remains consistent, while the examples, situations and questions are customised.

The goal is not to add another presentation. It is to prompt a useful, memorable realisation.

01De-mythologize

Move beyond the myths and establish clear reference points.

Understand what AI can truly produce, what it does not understand in the human sense, and why a fluent or convincing answer is not necessarily correct, relevant or responsible.

This first sequence allows us to move beyond the opposition between technological fascination and fear of replacement.

Understand before choosing.

02Experiment

Observe how AI changes the way we think.

Interactive questions, scenarios, comparisons between human work and generated responses, and short experiments involving attention, memory or decision-making.

Participants do not remain spectators: they observe their own reflexes in response to speed, ease, and the apparent confidence of AI.

Experience the mechanisms rather than simply hearing them explained.

03Step back

Connect uses with attention, memory and judgement.

An approach informed by the neuroscience of learning provides a better understanding of cognitive load, habit formation, the delegation of certain intellectual tasks and the role of effort in learning.

Neuroscience provides a framework for understanding here: it sheds light on reflection without making spectacular promises or offering scientific shortcuts.

Identify what we can delegate—and what we must continue to exercise.

04Look ahead

Turn reflection into initial decisions.

The conference concludes with questions directly applicable to the professional context:

What do we want to entrust to AI? What must we continue to verify? Which skills do we want to preserve? What shared rules must we build? What first experiment can we launch?

A useful conference does not end with the final slide.

Why now?

Cognitive work is already changing. Our reference points must keep pace.

49%

conversations analyzed in Microsoft 365 Copilot support cognitive activities: analyze, solve, evaluate or create.

58%

AI users surveyed report producing work they would not have been able to achieve a year ago.

2025

the European requirement to take measures ensuring a sufficient level of AI literacy has been in force since 2 February 2025.

Straight answers to your questions

Five questions before designing the conference.

What is the conference fee?
Pricing is determined by quote based on duration, level of customization, number of participants, location, and any additional materials. A 20-minute discussion allows us to precisely define the need.
Is the conference technical?
No. It explains the main mechanisms and issues without going into programming or the models’ detailed technical workings. It can, however, be adapted for a more expert audience.
Should participants already use AI?
No. The format is designed for widely varying levels, from people who already use AI every day to those who are still unfamiliar with it.
What role does neuroscience play?
Neuroscience constitutes one framework for understanding among others. It helps clarify mechanisms of attention, memory, learning, motivation, and habit formation. The conference does not present itself as a medical or clinical intervention.
Is a conference enough to drive AI adoption?
No. It creates awareness and a shared language. The workshop then provides room to experiment, while the sprint supports the lasting adoption of one or two practical use cases.
